Who we are
Cervomorph Ltd (company number 17442032, registered office 128 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX) is a software company. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, email inquiries@cervomorph.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website (cervomorph.com) and our general business communications. Some of our software products publish their own privacy notices covering the data handled within the product — where a product has its own notice, that notice applies to your use of the product.
When you visit this website
We don't set cookies to track you, and we don't use advertising or analytics tools on this site. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data — such as your IP address and the pages you request — so the site can be served quickly and securely. Our web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. We don't use any of this information to identify you or build a profile of you, and we never sell it.
When you contact us
When you email us or use the contact form on this site, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. (The contact form opens your own email app — nothing is sent to us until you press send.) We use this information to answer your enquiry and to stay in touch. Our legal bases for this are our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, and — where you've asked us to do something — taking steps towards a contract with you. Enquiries arrive in our business inbox, which is hosted by Google.
When we work together
If you become a client or supplier, we hold business contact details, correspondence and the usual paperwork (such as contracts and invoices) so we can do the work and meet our legal obligations — including keeping financial records for as long as the law requires.
Who we share it with
Only the providers who help us run our business — such as our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our email provider (Google) — and only what each of them needs. Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where that happens, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses approved for UK transfers). We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to help you and to keep sensible business records. If you ask us to delete something we hold about you, we will — unless we are required to keep it by law.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to certain processing; and provide it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email inquiries@cervomorph.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
This site runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS), our tools are access-controlled, and we use reputable providers. We keep the basics done properly — no system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects you, we'll make it clear on the site.
